No Friday Folders This Week!
We will not be sending home Friday Folders this week. We have received no fliers to send home and the school work has been largely project based. Unless you hear from us, please check with your child each week regarding their Friday Folder and take out the papers. In the past weeks we have had several students return their Friday Folders with the materials still in them.

IXL Opportunities!
We encourage students to use IXL several times each week. There are many activities that will support your child's learning. Currently we are investigating fractions including mixed numbers, improper fractions and the like in class. IXL offers nice practice in these areas.

Reading at Home
As we move through the winter months students typically spend a larger amount of time indoors at home. Given that... it is a good time to encourage your child to read at least 15 minutes each day at home. Many students spend a lot more time than that reading and that is great! Consider creating a consistent 15 minutes for reading in your home each night.
